Although anti-Americanism is nothing new in education, those pushing it today—especially in the form of “critical race theory”—are more aggressive than ever before. 

What makes our current situation even more urgent is that critical race theory has spread from college campuses to other areas of American life, including government, K–12 education, the corporate world, and even the U.S. military.  

It is not an exaggeration to say that the future of our country depends on how we respond to this crisis.

Education is where this attack on America began—and it is the battlefield on which we must engage the far-Left in defense of liberty and limited constitutional government. 

We want to expand our successful Project to Defend Liberty Nationwide by Reaching and Teaching Millions, which has three key goals:

• Goal #1: Inform the ongoing debates about the critical issues of our time by sending Imprimis, Hillsdale’s digest of liberty, to increasing numbers of homes and businesses—free of charge. We already reach millions—we must reach hundreds of thousands more.
  
  
• Goal #2: Teach increasing millions of citizens about the Constitution, and American history, through free online courses, with a special emphasis on reaching and teaching younger Americans. Hillsdale’s free online courses offer the kind of education that too many young people today do not receive in school.
  
  
• Goal #3: Expand efforts to revive excellence in American K–12 education—including proper civics instruction for young Americans. Thousands of students at classical K–12 schools receive an education that emphasizes moral character and includes a strong foundation in American civics.
